Room 3's Recycling Instruments

As we have been learning about the 3 r's Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, we have been discussing the many ways we can reuse items. We started with using pasta jars to plant flowers in! And today we completed our final project - making instruments! We started by talking about the design process which involved each of us deciding what instrument we wanted to make. Then we had to list all the things we would need and finally draw a picture and explain the type of sound we hoped it would make. The design process was fun to watch but a little overwhelming for some as they just wanted to get right into creating their instruments. Today we re-looked our design plan and began creating!
